We're delighted to announce that we're on the shortlist for the Top Employers for Working Families 2017 Awards in the Best in Third Sector category. There was a record-breaking number of registrations in 2017, so it's a huge honour to be part of the 24 outstanding organisations that have won through to the finals in 11 categories. The full details of the finalists are available on Working Families’ news page here:

More and more people these days value the increased personal benefits that a flexible working arrangement can provide be it taking the kids to school or supporting elderly relatives.

seAp promotes wellbeing throughout our work with vulnerable clients.  We apply that principle to our staff and have devised policies which enable working families and individuals to be able to balance health and wellbeing with delivering a quality service which meets the needs of our clients.  Staff who feel valued provide a valued service.  As most of our employees are home-based across the south of the country, having a flexible approach allows our employees to manage their personal, working and client needs more effectively.  Sometimes working in the early morning or later in the evening gives the individual the freedom to work more effectively and efficiently, producing the right outcome for all. seAp promotes the need for a healthy work/life balance and wellbeing and is a long standing signatory of the Mindful Employer Charter.

Our approach creates a WIN-WIN-WIN situation - good for the organisation, good for our employees and good for our clients
