Children and Young People

Xpress is an advocacy and children's rights service which works with children and young people aged 8-21 across East Sussex. Xpress has a number of contracts with statutory and private providers and delivers the following services:
- Advocacy for children/young people who have learning/physical disabilities or mental health difficulties who live in the community
- A Buddy Scheme for young people with disabilities
- Visiting outreach advocacy service for young people who are mental health inpatients
- An advocacy group for young people who have complex medical needs
- Consultation exercises
- Research Projects
Xpress is also involved in a wide range of local and national initiatives and sits on the National Advocacy Consortium.
Xpress can provide advocacy for Looked After Children who live in East Sussex but are not funded by the County.
