Meet the Senior Management Team
MY CHOICE & XPRESS
Janet Lundberg, Project Manager
Janet started working for SEAP at the end of January 2009 and now manages Xpress and MY CHOiCE. Both operate in East Sussex and have been valued SEAP projects for over 10 years. She line manages project staff, advocates and volunteers; initiates and develops new services; maintains networks with other agencies working with young people and adults with Learning Disabilities and ensures that our commissioners are happy with the advocacy support we provide for their users.
She has worked as a manager in the voluntary sector for 15 years, most of it managing charities in London. She has worked with most of society’s vulnerable groups and has also worked as a commissioner / funder for a London Borough.
SEAP
Ellen Cocks, Operations Manager
Ellen has worked within the health and social care field for over 14 years in both the statutory and voluntary sectors. She has substantial experience of providing, developing and managing advocacy services including ICAS and IMCA as well as advocacy for a range of specialist client groups such as MH, LD, Children and Young People.
As a trainer Ellen has delivered training in basic advocacy, advocating for clients with learning disabilities and has delivered a number of IMCA training sessions to health and social care professionals.
Michael Foot, ICT Manager
Michael’s role as the ICT Manager is to lead SEAP in using technology to enhance the organisation’s portfolio and to streamline business processes and communication. Our website and intranet facilities are uniquely designed for our clients and staff respectively with much involvement and feedback from them contributing to its success.
With a modest ICT background, SEAP has allowed his role to grow to a level where he now has a significant involvement in key decisions which allow for a technological solution as well as suggesting new ideas which maximise our resources.
Dave Harris, Service Manager, Mental Health
Dave Harris is the newly appointed Strategic Mental Health Service Manager and joined SEAP in October 2009. For the last 12 years he has managed mental health services within the statutory sector across East Sussex. Dave has worked in mental health for the past 18 years and has been pro active in encouraging service user involvement at all levels of service provision. In 2005 Dave organised a multi disciplinary road show throughout East Sussex, involving service users and professionals from all sectors in raising the awareness of mental health issues within our community.
Emma Taylor, Operations Manager Mental Health Projects
Emma’s role as the Operations Manager for Mental Health Projects is to ensure delivery of SEAP’s organisational aims and objectives through effective management. She holds responsibility for the overall operational running of the Mental Health Projects and works with the Service Manager Mental Health on project development and an ongoing strategy of improvement.
